Kundalini has been known to the scholars in the subcontinent since ages though its propagation to the western shores occurred in the recent past through the sages and practitioners who travelled to the western countries as part of their mission to spread its knowledge and finer points.

Kundalini Shakti is the ultimate power that resides in the human body. It is the feminine power that unites with its masculine companion, Lord Shiva. It is the untouched power that each human possesses. It’s like a flower that needs to be nurtured to achieve and expose its real beauty.

The word kundalini refers to the Shakti or power when it is in its dormant potential state, but when it is manifesting, you can call it Devi, Kali, Durga, Saraswati, Lakshmi or any other name according to the manifestation it is exhibiting before you.

In the next session of Kundalini Reiki “Kundalini Fire” will then be released through the Crown Chakra, creating a channel or pathway for energy through the recipient’s body. This practice creates a constant flow of energy through the recipient’s body, even after the Kundalini Reiki healings have been completed. It is believed that this process will ground a patient to the energy of the earth.

Many recipients report that by being grounded to the Earth’s energy through Kundalini Reiki healing, they have become more intuitive and in some cases more psychic also. Though Kundalini Reiki should not be used for this purpose only; it should be used to create an energy pathway in body so that energy can flow effortlessly and thus fill the holes and can remove the blockages.

While doing the Kundalini Reiki healing for self and others, it is not mandatory that Kundalini Shakti will be activated and will raise upto the crown chakra. As discussed earlier Kundalini Reiki just uses the flames of Kundalini not the entire power.

But it has been observed in some cases that during Kundalini Reiki Attunement and healing process; Kundalini Shakti gets activated and it starts rising up. But one has to put regular efforts to let it keep rising. If Kundalini Shakti start rising it doesn’t mean that it will never come back to its dormant state, but once it crosses the Throat chakra, it will never come down.
