Is Reiki a religion or any other belief system?
No, Reiki is not a religion. Reiki is not specific to a particular religion or a belief system. This is a universal energy which is same for everyone. The only thing you need to have is a sincere wish to help yourself (or others). Most healing systems are based on intent and so is Reiki.
What is the difference between healing and curing?
Healing is when you go to the root of the problem and restore the body’s balance. Curing is what is normally considered done when you actually remove the problem (but maybe not the cause).
Can children receive Reiki?
Yes, anyone can receive Reiki. The first level Reiki can be given to children above the age of 5 years. Please note that many countries have laws or rules about treating children with alternative healing methods.
Who are the Angels?
They are high beings of light who have not necessarily incarnated into a human body. God created the Angels to be responsible for different aspects of the Universe, as so there is an Angel for everything. They love to help us, and love us to call upon them for that help.
Can I connect with my loved ones in the Spirit World?
Yes. There are a number of ways in which you can do this, such as visiting a credible psychic, or by simply going into meditation yourself and being open to your loved one communicating with you. They may choose to do this is a number of ways themselves, such as in your dreams or by providing visible signs, or by hearing them. Be patient with them and yourselves, it takes time.
Why do we pray to angels? Aren’t we supposed to pray to God?
The angels don’t want us to worship them or make them into “gods.” They want all glory to go to God. So, we don’t pray to angels. We only request their help and have conversations with them.
